Secure Media URLs with Optional Authentication & Expiry

Media files, including images, videos, audio, and documents, are now served through secure Periskope URLs instead of direct Google Cloud Storage links.

This introduces a new Media Privacy setting for your organization. When enabled, media links require authentication and expire automatically after a configurable duration, including for APIs, webhooks, and integrations.

It's optional and can be turned on anytime from Settings → Config.

APIs, webhooks, and integrations now return secure URLs automatically. No changes are needed on your end.

⚠️ Action required for existing media URLs

If you have legacy storage.googleapis.com URLs stored in your CRM, database, or spreadsheets, they will stop working after 15 September 2026.

Use the URL Migration API to convert them. It supports batch conversion of up to 1,000 URLs per request.
