Team Management & MCP Upgrades

Today’s update makes it easier to onboard teams and build on top of Periskope. 

✅ Import team members in bulk

Adding large teams just got easier.

You can now import team members into your organization using a CSV file, making it faster to onboard teams without manually adding users one by one.

✅ Periskope MCP gets a major upgrade

The WhatsApp MCP package has been reworked to achieve full feature parity with the REST API. This release adds 17 new tools, including:

  • Broadcast messages

  • Pin and unpin messages

  • Get message status

  • List all messages globally

  • List all notifications globally

  • Get chat notifications

  • Get chat notes

  • Check contacts

  • Update contact labels

  • Full task CRUD operations

  • Get reactions

  • Invite members

  • Trigger AI replies

The send message tool now also supports media and poll messages.

Run the following command to get the latest version:

npm i -g @periskope-bot/whatsapp-mcp@latest
