Allowing 2 sessions per user

Feature Request

Currently a user can be in only 1 device at a time. Whatsapp is something we use both on desktop and mobile simultaneously. Often, there’s media on mobile that needs to be shared in a chat, maybe a screen recording of an app that can’t happen on desktop etc.

These are very common usecases. So one session at a time becomes a challenge. Kindly look into this.

    We’ve passed the request back again to the engineering team. To be honest, there’s not much we can do here, but let me have a deeper discussion with my team and see if we can find a solution.

    This is really becoming a challenge and I am hoping we find a solution for this in future. I know that allowing multiple devices could mean people will misuse it.

    But I am a genuine user who needs this, so it is a genuine use case. Periskope is meant to increase productivity but here my team is feeling limited and always goes back to using normal whatsapp. I’m having a hard time getting Periskope thoroughly adopted due to this. the AHA moment of the product is getting delayed.

    If this can be achieved through a higher level of security where misuse can be minimised, it would really help. Sincerely request you to re-consider this, if not immediately, at least in the near future.
