Smart Reply to Original Chat After Forwarding

📌 Current workflow

In our daily operation, we often receive customer inquiries in one WhatsApp group.
When a message is about a specific hotel or department, we forward that message to another internal group that handles that topic.

The internal team then replies to the forwarded message in their group — however, there’s currently no direct or automated way to send that reply back to the original customer or group where the question came from.

💡 Suggested improvement

When someone replies to a forwarded message, the system should automatically identify the original chat or group where the message came from, and then provide two possible actions:

  1. Automatic Reply Option:
    The reply in the internal group is automatically sent back to the original customer’s message (in their group).

  2. Manual Shortcut Option:
    A quick-action button appears such as “Reply to Original Chat”, allowing the agent to manually confirm and send the same reply to the source chat.

⚙️ Benefits

  • Saves a lot of time and avoids confusion between multiple groups.

  • Keeps communication threads consistent and traceable.

  • Prevents the need to manually copy/paste responses between groups.

This feature would be a major improvement for users who handle a high number of customer groups or team chats simultaneously.
