How It Works

With Slack Notification Actions, you can set up your own custom bot webhooks on Slack and personalise the notifications to suit your needs. Here’s how to get started:

1. Set Up Your Slack Webhook: Create a custom bot webhook in your Slack workspace.

2. Go to the Automation Rules Section in Periskope: Set up your automation rules to trigger the right actions.

3. Customize Your Notifications: Define the specific triggers and events you want to monitor, and customize the notification payload to include the details you want to send to Slack.

4. Choose "Send Slack Webhook Notification" in Actions: Select this option to trigger Slack notifications.

5. Connect Periskope to Slack: Use your webhook URL to link Periskope to your Slack workspace.

6. Receive Instant Notifications: Get real-time updates on Slack whenever your defined triggers are activated.
